Business Development Manager:
This excellent opportunity is ideal for an outgoing, engaging, and friendly Sales professional, ideally with previous experience working field based, visiting client sites on a daily basis. The Business Development Manager will be covering London, the Southeast & Home Counties, with this you must be prepared to travel daily and hold a valid UK driving licence. You will ideally have experience in the Construction industry; however, we are happy to train you to understand the features, benefits and installation of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, with a positive mental attitude and have a passion to succeed.
What will you be doing as our Business Development Manager?
• Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
* Creating your own strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients including chasing up submitted tenders.
* Pitching our services to new and existing clients
* Maintaining contact with existing clients to ensure that repeat business opportunities exist.
* Attending events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s services, the competition in the industry, and positioning
* Collaborating with management and the existing team to ensure that their requirements are being met.
* Maintaining a sense of enthusiasm and commitment
* Providing consistent, excellent customer service
Who are we looking for?
• Ideally possess previous experience within a similar business development manager's role
• A superstar go-getter, who can close deals.
• Someone commercially astute and performance driven, self-motivated and resourceful, mainly working independently as part of a team.
• You must have a full UK driving licence and be happy being field based, on the road daily.
