Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a secondary school located in Stoke-on-Trent who are recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor. The school are looking for a confident individual who is able to effectively manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher looking to gain experience within a mainstream classroom, or a qualified teacher looking for a new role. About the role: Start-date: 2 nd June Opportunity to continue a permanent contract in September £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience) As a full-time Cover Supervisor, you will cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pre-set work is completed to a high standard and the school’s behaviour policies are followed. This role will involve general cover across all subjects or specific subject cover, dependent on the needs of the school at the time. What we’re looking for: Experience within a school setting is necessary for this role Good knowledge of behaviour management techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both staff and students Safeguarding training (must be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
