School Caretaker Location: Secondary School, Pontypridd Hourly Pay: £12.90 per hour Contract: Full-Time, Immediate Start Teaching Personnel are seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker to join the team at one of our partner secondary schools in Pontypridd. This role involves general maintenance duties to ensure the safety and upkeep of the school site. You will work alongside the current caretaker to maintain the smooth operation of the school grounds and facilities. Key Responsibilities: Performing general maintenance and repair tasks to keep the school premises in good condition. Opening the school grounds in the early mornings or securing the site in the evenings. Supporting the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the school environment. Reporting and addressing any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Requirements: DBS Check: A valid and up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is essential. Proven ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks effectively and safely. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
