Our client is a FTSE 100 business, and one of the largest, leading, global Retailers based in Leicester, seeking a Finance Analyst to join the commercial team on a permanent, full-time basis!
As Finance Analyst, based in Leicester, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Responsible for providing reports regarding sales, and analysis on these reports
2. Reporting sales performance across various revenue streams
3. Regular reporting on a daily, or weekly basis
4. Business partnering the Commercial Finance teams providing reliable information and insight to help shape decisions
5. Deputising the Finance Manager, attending key meetings with senior management, and providing analysis where necessary
6. Utilising software to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources
7. Maintaining reports and dashboards to track progress, identifying inefficiencies, and measuring KPIs
8. Communicating project updates, findings, and recommending improvements to key stakeholders
The successful Finance Analyst will have the following experience:
9. Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) OR Part-Qualified (actively working towards ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
10. Stakeholder management experience
11. Experienced and ambitious Analyst, with excellent reporting skills and an inquisitive mind
12. It literate and advanced Excel skills
13. Clear communication skills
14. Ability to prioritise workloads
