About the role Reporting to one of our Service Leads, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service and campaign management to some of our key charity clients, helping us build on Signal’s reputation for exemplary campaign and service delivery. As part of a busy client team, you will be required to manage multiple direct mail projects concurrently. You will also need to have strength in building relationships and forging strong connections with your day-to-day contacts. We will provide training on our systems and tools, but you will need to get stuck into campaign delivery and build fantastic relationships with the client. Experience working in data-driven, direct marketing is a must. Key Responsibilities Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client Interpreting client instructions and data briefs, challenging and/or clarifying where appropriate, before briefing internal departments and third-party suppliers Responsible for producing schedules, quotations, internal data briefs, and effectively managing scope change Working with planners, creative teams and other third-party suppliers to deliver campaigns in line with the client brief Keeping the client informed through efficient, timely and effective communication and being able to manage expectations effectively Leading your campaigns, ensuring you prioritise appropriately, and keeping a wider eye on team capacity. Managing campaign delivery to agreed quality, cost and profitability standards Negotiating successfully with clients and third-party suppliers on timings and costs Responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of DM production routes and the benefits of each, and determining the suitability of each one for client projects Key Skills Essential Have proven experience of managing complex direct marketing campaigns Have proven experience of working with cross-functional teams, ranging from creative to technical, and overall stakeholder management Have proven experience in translating a client campaign objective into actionable briefs and campaign production plans Knowledgeable of postal services and DSA providers Have strong commercial acumen to monitor and optimise project contribution Enjoy developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and colleagues Be a great planner and adept at prioritising, with experience of managing multiple parallel client campaigns that frequently change scope Have a passion for understanding and interpreting your clients’ needs Enjoy collaborating with colleagues in other teams to find solutions Love to learn and share learning with others and proactively suggest process improvements or ideas in a client conversation Have excellent problem-solving skills, always looking for the solution.
