We are seeking a motivated and energetic HR/PR Assistant to cover Maternity Leave
The responsibilities for the role will be split between three clear areas:
1. Human Resources & Recruitment
2. PR & Advertising
3. Administration
The aim of this role is to progress and take on more responsibility over time with support and training given whilst working directly with the Operations Team
HR & Recruitment
· Support HR with investigation, capability and disciplinary meetings etc
· Support with Inductee progress for compliance when instructed, issuing staff contracts and HR Packs
· Support with job vacancy sharing online and keep website ads up to date
· Uniform & Kit stock takes, support Emma with sourcing and deciding on orders to be placed. Place new uniform orders via Emma, log and track orders, use Tee's R Us to patch before issuing to staff. Monitor new and additional uniforms requested by existing staff to charge where applicable. Check returned uniforms and inform payroll who will cross ref leavers. Sort returned items for laundry and dispose of any that may be stained or damaged and cannot be re-used (check zips, pockets, underarms, size)
· Support with Staff onboarding - GTG emailing and system admin
· Support staff with obtaining documents such as confirmation of employment, migrant visa application etc
· Support ops with feedback on staff issues
· Discuss queries with staff as instructed
· Support with compliance related tasks such as requesting and following up on expiry
PR, Technical Support & Communication
· Communicateinformation to the workforce via email campaigns
· Maintain website, updating information online
· Drafting and publishing news stories, Compliments & Feedback
· Maintain a presence on social media communicating updates and monitoring public responses/reactions
· Drafting and publishing staff & client surveys, reporting and mailing feedback
· Support with researching & implementation of new technology platforms and applications
· Technical support with a wide range of devices and apps
· Advising on solutions to manage and maintain data using existing resources and systems
· Working with systems providers to develop and introduce new system features
· Researching & implementing new technology platforms and applications
· Technical support for the workforce on a wide range of devices and apps
· Drafting letters, contracts, emails, information packs etc for a wide range of communication tasks we are required to do in line with good working practice or legal obligations
· Resolving any office connection issue and reporting back to ops
· Supporting with new office staff setup
Administration
· Processing staff leaving employment
· Logging and tracking company property
· Tracking company services contract renewals
Property/Accommodation/Cars
· Supporting relocating staff to find accommodation in the area
· Supporting staff with finding new cars
· Inspections of staff rental property
· Overseeing property maintenance and repairs
· Managing residential and commercial utilities, council tax, water, wifi, TV licencing etc
· Keeping charges updated and payroll informed monthly of deductions
· Drafting lease and tenant contracts
· Supporting with company cars
Training
· Supporting staff with and training required to use company systems as per job role
· Supporting training department with system management and faults
MISC
· Reviewing and negotiating contracts
· Managing disputes for various things
· supporting with contingency planning
· Supporting with PPE
The applicant will:
· Have previous experience and knowledge of HR and PR requirements
· Have excellent I.T skills – full training on in-house systems will be given
· Have a passion for technology and systems
· Be confident in use of varied devices and giving technical support
· Have good time management and organisation skills
· Be confident on telephone and face to face meetings
· Have knowledge or experience in care provision
· Be a team player with a willingness to learn and support others
· Be presentable in appearance
· Have attention to detail
· Hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to their own vehicle
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £13.88 per hour
