The Financial Assistant can expect to assist the Finance Manager with audits, and preparing reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills. The responsibilities will also include: Performing office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email. Processing Purchase Ledger transactions, updating ledgers. Processing, monitoring, reporting and controlling timesheets, expenses and credit card receipts. Processing and issuing Sales Invoices. Preparing financial reports. Providing support to the Finance Manager as and when required. Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.This role is being offered as a 6 month fixed term contract. What we're looking for: Comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and the interaction of ledgers Experience working within an accounts department and using software, such as MS Excel and Sage Strong attention to detail, with a professional manner and a strong ethical code. Experience in working in a busy and time-pressured environment Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask, remaining motivated and positive.
