About the Role
We are urgently seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to provide IT support at an educational site in Peterborough. This is a contract role requiring an immediate start. The successful candidate must hold an Enhanced DBS and have experience working in a Windows and O365 environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line technical support to staff and students.
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to Windows, Office 365, and general hardware/software.
* Escalate more complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support when necessary.
* Ensure smooth operation of IT systems within an educational setting.
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Key Requirements
* Enhanced DBS (Essential).
* Proven experience in a 1st line support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
