Job summary Exciting opportunity Within the Endoscopy Unit at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, we are looking to recruit Band 5 Staff Nurses / ODPs to join our team. We have permanent Full time or Part time positions available. The service will be expanding in the near future following a recent upgrade to our facilities, with new procedures & learning opportunities. We provide a comprehensive on call service for the out of hours work, and the successful applicant will be required to participate in this once fully trained. Cross site working will be required, ability to drive or to travel to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is essential. Main duties of the job The pre-assessment of patients from clinic that require an endoscopic procedure, providing skilled and considerate care during the patients admission; taking into account the patient's specific needs during the procedure; recovery and discharge; preparing the equipment and the environment to enable the procedures to be carried out to a high standard safely. Candidates should have a professional nursing/ODP qualification, drive and enthusiasm, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and in return we will be able to offer you support towards your professional development. Patient care, experience and staff well-being are at the forefront of our philosophy.
