Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Risk Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the role We are seeking an experienced consulting Senior Manager to join our Financial Services Industry Team within our cyber security practice. Roles & responsibilities: Building and maintaining client relationships and establishing credibility by demonstrating knowledge of various aspects of cyber security, and identifying opportunities where PwC can assist. Working with senior members of the Financial Services Industry Group to define and execute go-to-market and commercial strategies. Advising clients as a subject matter expert within the Industry Team, with an understanding of Financial Services sector cyber security practices, challenges and issues. Identifying client issues and qualifying opportunities for PwC to respond to these through PwC’s risk and cyber security propositions and solutions. Overseeing and managing and delivering cyber security projects, including reviewing documentation and reports, and quality assuring the work produced by junior team members. Leading teams to respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and produce proposals to address client cyber security challenges. Contributing to PwC’s voice in the market through delivering commercial campaigns aligned to cyber risk and authoring thought leadership This role is for you if: You have experience in Financial Services, or working with Financial Services clients, in a cyber security context, and have a deep understanding of security best practices and Financial Services regulatory requirements. You can easily build relationships with a range of clients and senior stakeholders. You have excellent communication skills – both oral (for interviews/meetings, presentations) and written (for designing and writing engaging reports which communicate recommendations and actions succinctly and clearly convey the message in a way which is appropriate for the audience, and rooted in the client’s needs). You have experience leading teams, with a keen eye for detail and strong focus on encouraging quality work by all team members, and a constructive approach to developing and mentoring colleagues with those goals in mind. You have experience of business development or sales, including working on bid teams, and experience of supporting winning proposals and RFP responses. You have experience helping clients effect substantial and complex business change, and experience of assuring or enabling change at scale is desirable. You have experience providing expert strategy, risk and technical advice, guidance and support on cyber security, both in business-as-usual and for live and planned projects within Financial Services organisations. You can work well independently, and as part of a wider team, to effectively deliver outcomes set by senior members of the team.
