Job summary Here at Wimborne CMHT, we are excited to recruit a registered mental health nurse (RMN) to join the team to cover for a fixed term of up to 11 months. We are looking for an experienced Band 5 or 6 RMN to join the team. We would welcome applicants who are passionate about recovery, person centred in their approaches and driven to be part of a close working team. You will be supported in your clinical work, and professional development, by experienced mental health practitioners, and with ongoing close & supportive supervision from the Team Leader together with an agreed programme of induction and orientation as required. Main duties of the job You will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary team, this team is made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Social Workers, OT and Support Time Recovery Worker with further support of Admin and a Psychologist. Having experience of working in a community mental health environment would be useful, but not essential, you will need to be able to apply the philosophies of engagement and recovery within your work with service users. A good level of IT literacy is an essential requirement. The team is based in Wimborne and covers the surrounding area. The post holder will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as they will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings. This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only.
