We are a close-knit team at Middlesbrough Cleveland Park, led by our JVPs and Veterinary Surgeons, Andrew and Sophie. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent standard of care to our patients while creating a friendly practice atmosphere where our team enjoys their time at work.
This new RVN role will involve a mixture of consults and theatre work. Within our vet team, we have interests in soft tissue surgery and exotics, making this an interesting and varied role with excellent opportunities for development. We encourage our nurses to undertake schedule three activities and support any CPD in a particular area of interest. We hold monthly team meetings and regular 1-to-1s, giving all our colleagues the chance to have their say regarding practice protocols and their own progression.
We aim to provide the highest standard of care to our patients and want our new team member to share this passion for animal welfare while enjoying the variety provided by our customers and clients alike.
This is a full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays. We are open 9 am - 7 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am - 2 pm on Saturdays, and we are looking for someone to be part of our Saturday rota, where you will have the support of a VCA as well. We are closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
In return, we offer:
* Salary of £24-£28K
* 5.6 weeks holiday, increasing to 6.6 after 2 years of service, plus your birthday off.
* Relocation package
* CPD allowance and support
* Contributory pension scheme
* Paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, etc.)
* AXA private healthcare
