As a Trading Services Manager – Vice President in the Global Rates and FX Post Middle Office Team, you will have the opportunity to interact significantly with various business partners and trading desks. You will play a crucial role in centralizing trade populations and executing compression cycles, acting as the first point of contact for the trading desk. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to various strategic initiatives and improve our processes and controls.
Job responsibilities:
* Work closely with trading desks to centralize trade populations and execute compression cycles across risk management systems within Global Rates.
* Capture and reconcile all transactions accurately in risk management systems, considering downstream teams and reconciliations during compression activities.
* Act as the first point of contact for the trading desk; collaborate with other business partners to enforce and improve the compression program.
* Produce, reconcile, and explain trading profit and loss, risk, and positions related to compression cycles.
* Perform key controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of compression activities.
* Participate in and contribute to strategic compression initiatives.
* Continuously improve and evolve processes and controls.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Strong product knowledge of interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, and other rates derivatives.
* Proficiency in technical skills such as Excel, VBA, Access.
* Ability to communicate effectively across locations.
* Experience in profit and loss, risk management, and compression.
* Highly motivated, numerate, with strong analytical skills, proactive, and driven.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Team player capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
* Adaptable to changing environments with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Quick learner who can incorporate new information and adapt processes accordingly.
