Job summary
This is an exciting post for someone with administrative experience within the UHNM looking to learn new skills, therefore previous experience of working within a admin or secretary environment is essential.
The post holder will need to demonstrate good communication skills, flexibility, reliability and have an organised approach to work. Working as part of a team of Medical Secretaries, you will support with the management of typing of clinical letters, diary management and minute taking along with daily office duties as required by the clinical team.
The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway.
Main duties of the job
Administrative and support secretary duties within the Emergency Medicine and Acute Medicine admin teams.
Answering calls, emails, processing incoming consultant correspondence, working with the Acute Medicine secretaries to maintain diaries and work allocation.
