We are looking to recruit a Revenues Officer (based at Number 6, Vittoria Walk, YMCA Cheltenham with possibility of hybrid working available), with a sense of social purpose to help improve the lives of others and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adults throughout the County of Gloucestershire.
The role is 37.5 hours a week.
Salary is between £25,095 per annum and £30,199 per annum, dependent on relevant skills, experience and qualifications.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will:
* have a background in accounting or finance;
* hold an AAT Level 3 qualification or be studying towards this;
* be proficient in Xero accounting software and MS Excel;
* have an excellent financial acumen and possess a deep understanding of accounting and financial management principles;
* ideally, have experience of managing budgets and financial reporting and of dealing with revenues;
* have excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, good problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively with other teams.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Revenues Officer plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the charity's income and fundraising activities. The position is responsible for accurate income reconciliation, claiming gift aid, managing both restricted and unrestricted funds, and reconciling just giving. The Revenues Officer will work closely with the grant development team to support fundraising efforts and work with operations to ensure we actively seek all methods of funding to support the individual needs of our residents. This role will support the Head of Finance in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across all revenue streams.
