An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of ESOL who will support the Head to lead and manage the ESOL provision to ensure that a high-quality experience is delivered in line with College targets that meets the needs of the students and the local community and delivers excellent achievement.
The ideal candidate will have a degree and /or professional experience at an appropriate level and a teaching qualification, either a PGCE in ESOL or a Level 5 teaching qualification with a specialism in ESOL. They will have knowledge and experience of delivering high quality Teaching, Learning & Assessment in ESOL and FS Maths, ideally within FE, and a record of delivering high achievement rates. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and, ideally will have some experience in supporting a team of professionals and helping to create a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They will lead on our 16-18 provision and should have experience of working with young people.
