Purpose of the Role Due to continued growth, LB Group is recruiting for an initiative-taking and creative individual to come and join our Marketing team. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for delivering effective external and internal communications and supporting business objectives. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver engaging content, foster strong relationships with stakeholders and support the wider team on marketing campaigns. Accountabilities Internal Communications: Support the team with internal communications and engagement activities including writing and content creation of the Intranet - ‘The Loop,’ Staff events and Staff quarterly updates. Team: Management of the team inbox and allocation of relevant jobs. Support on the delivery of marketing campaigns, including on web, social and email marketing. Support with and attend corporate events as required. Act as a brand guardian, ensuring correct branding and guidelines are consistently followed throughout the business. Support Head of Marketing with other projects as required. PR: Coordinate drafting and editing of press releases, and approval from relevant colleagues, stakeholders, clients, and partners. Ongoing maintenance of PR coverage database. Skills / Qualifications Strong copywriting, proof reading and content creation skillset is essential for this role, a collaborator who is positive with the ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally who can be proactive about their own training and personal development. As well as: A degree or marketing related qualification is desirable but not essential. Proven history in production of a range of collateral. Demonstrable experience of producing high calibre written content. Experience of digital marketing techniques including email campaigns, SEO, and social media content. An understanding of public relations. Strong IT skills and experience in creation of documents in Microsoft software, including Word and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of systems such as WordPress, Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey and MailChimp would be advantageous. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
