About the Role
Hearts at Home Home Care is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Care assistants to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.
Main Duties
* Organize and maintain household items and supplies
* Assist with meal preparation and cooking
* Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning
* Provide companionship and engage in activities with the client
* Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, if required
* Help with medication reminders, if needed
Person Specification
* DRIVING IS ESSENTIAL (Full UK License)
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
* Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
* Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and bending
* Compassionate and patient demeanour
