Purpose Of T he Job Have full accountability and responsibility forthe safemanagementand delivery of project worksin line withbusiness processes and proceduresworkingalongside contract teams and client to generate pipeline sales and opportunities. Manage others withinthe business and support growth and development of talent. Key Responsibilities - Identifyand develop amedium and long termpipeline of Project opportunities from the portfolio of customers within the Business Unit. - Use the LCR and FMR to build capex plans for long term spend. - Leverage opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites. - Liaise withcolleaguesmanagers todetermineandidentifyproject opportunities.Createcase studies to promote business and host key decision makers on show site tours. - Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor. - Work with developers,designersand sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements andrequiredprofit margins. - Manage,runand draw up tenders on behalf of the customer asrequired. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns. - Work within the current CDM process. In the main taking on the role of principle contractor. - In line with local playbookidentify,reduceand manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading. - Ensure CBRE QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project. - Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures. - Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end".Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying,sub-contractormanagement and site manager duties. - Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s). - Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project playbook. - Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business. - Ensures project documents are complete,currentand appropriately stored. - Providetimelymonthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format. - Manage commercial terms toeliminaterisk - Support recruitment - Lead and mange others within the division and support their growth and development. - Support Head of Projects in managing and delivering business strategy. Person Specification Education - Recognised technical qualification inConstruction,Mechanical or Electricalor similar(desirable) - Degree level qualification in Project Management (desirable) Training - Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent(desirable) - Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy - APMcertified(desirable) - Prince 2 certified (desirable) - CDM regulations - SMSTS certified - Neboshcertified - CSCS card holder - IOSH(desirable) Experience -Proventrack recordsafely delivering exceptional projectsin either anM&E, FM, construction, or critical environments. - Experience of developing new project opportunities -Proven experience of running aP&L -Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team -Experience of creating,presentingand managing on bids,tendersand proposals.
