Job summary We are looking for a caring Phlebotomist to join our friendly nursing team at Stanford Medical Centre. We service 18,500 patients across 3 sites. You will play a crucial role in delivering high quality patient care working along side a team of skilled professionals in a supportive environment. Interviews will be 10th March in the afternoon Main duties of the job Main duties are : perform venepuncture to obtain blood samples for medical testing labelling vials accurately and maintain proper documentation of collected samples ensure patient identification and verify medical records for accuracy utilise aseptic techniques during specimen collection to prevent contamination handle specimens appropriately provide basic life support in cases of adverse reactions during blood collection provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients feel at ease throughout the procedure About us Stanford Medical Centre has a main branch opposite Preston Park in Brighton. We have 2 branches locally - one is at the University of Brighton which is moving to a new premises locally. We have 9 Partners, 3 salaried GPs, mental health practitioner and a range of other clinicians to support the practice. The nursing team has a team of 7 which includes a HCA. We are an EMIS practice.
