Senior AML Officer Compliance Specialist Leeds/London/Dublin We’re looking for a Senior AML Officer to join our AML Compliance Team at Flutter UK & Ireland. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations such as the UK Money Laundering Regulations and Proceeds of Crime Act and preventing the use of our brands and their products for illicit financial gain, with the ultimate aim of keeping crime out of gambling. As a Senior AML Officer you will identify risks and control gaps, provide specialist advice and support, act on suspicious activity, and maintain and monitor the brand’s AML control framework across Online and Retail (UK&I). What you’ll do Working within the UK&I AML Compliance Team, you’ll assist the Senior AML Manager and Head of AML in the day-to-day running of the AML Compliance function with reference to company policy and process. Assist in the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the relevant systems and controls and compile management information for senior management and managing workflow for the AML team. Complete special projects on various topics as needed acting as a key point of contact for the AML team across the business. Conduct Compliance audits on current programs and flag areas of improvements as needed. Assist with the drafting and delivery of AML training and the monitoring and recording of training attendance. Research and understand changes in legislation, and how they would affect the business. How you’ll do it: You will be looking to progress your career in AML and utilise strong analytical ability, administration skills and attention to detail to complete tasks in a pioneering and efficient manner. Significant experience of working in an AML/Compliance related role with demonstrable knowledge of CDD/AML. Strong attention to detail and high levels of integrity, with a commitment to delivering quality results in-line with deadlines. Have strong communication and organisational skills, you will be comfortable building relationships at all levels and be able to prioritise workloads within tight deadlines. Effective analytical skills, including the ability to accumulate, organise, and assimilate large amounts of information. Previous experience or a qualification in Anti-Money Laundering is preferable but as a minimum you will have an awareness and good understanding of the AML regulatory framework in the UK, as well as AML concepts and issues.
