Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining financial records including purchases, receipts, and payments.
2. Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
3. CIS procedure/process.
4. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
5. Preparation of management accounts.
6. Processing year-end journals.
7. Processing accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
8. Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits.
9. Making supplier payments.
10. Maintaining fixed asset register.
11. Responsible for petty cash, maintaining daily records of payments and receipts, ensuring that documentation is accurate and meets regulatory requirements.
12. Setting up and maintaining financial files, ensuring they meet General Data Protection Regulations and legal compliance.
Qualifications:
1. AAT Level and above.
2. Minimum of 3 years Accounts/Bookkeeping experience.
3. Minimum of 2 years experience using Xero.
Work Schedule:
30-35 hours per week
Salary: £32,500 pro rata based on 39.5 hours weekly
Flexible over 4 or 5 days.
