ILS Supportability Engineer
Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Glasgow - Hybrid working
Role Overview:
The ILS Supportability Engineer will provide engineering support to the product line, ensuring effective design, development, and adherence to standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage obsolescence activities, including reviews, technical notes, and risk registers.
* Develop and manage DRACAS for system analysis and corrective actions.
* Perform FMECA to identify and address system reliability issues.
* Chair review meetings and produce reports on obsolescence and ILS statistics.
* Develop and maintain ILS documentation (e.g., Supportability Case Reports, ILS Plans).
* Conduct reliability assessments and support Through-Life Support (TLS) initiatives.
* Collaborate across teams to ensure successful ILS delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline; post-graduate qualification preferred.
* Previous ILS experience; familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management.
* Experience with submersibles, diving systems, or submarine escape is advantageous.
* Knowledge of ILS standards and safety regulations.
* Full clean driving license and the ability to obtain SC level clearance.
