We are looking for a high-calibre person to join our Student Information team as a Senior Student Information Officer - International.
In this role, you will become part of the Student Information team providing exceptional customer service to students and staff across all programmes. The Student Information team also assists students in accessing specialist advice and support from other ULaw services including welfare, disability support and inclusion, employability and study skills.
Contributing to the delivery of a professional front-of-house service to students, visitors and staff in keeping with the expectations and standards required by the university and our stakeholders.
You will be required to promote and sustain a constructive, supportive and friendly working relationship with all clients, visitors and staff.

As Senior Student Information Officer - International, you will act as first point of contact, providing specialist information and guidance on a range of non-academic queries to international students, ensuring they have a positive experience whilst at the University. A key part of this role is to coordinate the onboarding and transition of international students and provide specialist support to ensure compliance for our international operation.
As our Senior Student Information Officer - International, you will:
* Engage with all registration activities for international students.
* Collaborate across departments, playing a key role in the planning of integrated Welcome and Orientation events for international students.
* Work closely with the Visa Compliance team in ensuring the University is compliant with key sponsor duties on campus.
* Deputise for the Student Information Hub Manager for all visa compliance-related issues.
* Ensure all on-campus Right to Study checks are carried out according to defined policies and procedures.
We are looking for people who are/have:
* Relevant experience in the provision of high-quality customer service.
* Experience working with complex processes in a busy office environment.
* Experience in providing information, advice and guidance to individuals on a one-to-one basis.
* Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Good IT skills with the ability to effectively use MS Office suite (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).
