Employability Video Project Students are required to self-film video content to showcase how they have completed work experience or placements as part of their course, and to explain how it supports their future career prospects. Possible activities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Placements
2. Internships
3. Industry visits
4. Networking events

Note: This activity must be as part of your degree programme or via academics/career supports at Manchester Met. Part-time jobs or internships outside of your studies are not suitable.
The aim of the content is to tell the story of how any work experience you've gained through studying your course at Manchester Met has inspired you to develop your career. It should also show future international students what opportunities studying a course with placement opportunities will create for them.

3. How you applied
4. Why you chose this opportunity

As well as key aspects about the course, we would like students to communicate Manchester Met's values through the video content. These are:
* Future me - 'Future me' is all about your personal student development journey. Your goals, your experience, reflecting on your progress and sharing your individual journey. We would like to hear how you have built skills, confidence and the experience needed to succeed within and beyond the university. Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to supporting the rights, responsibilities, dignity, health and wellbeing of staff and students through our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
* Making a difference - Tell us what you think Manchester Met is doing to be innovative and how you are driving change on your programme.
* #McrMetProud - We would like to know what it is like being part of one of the UK's most diverse and inclusive student communities. What makes you proud to be part of Manchester Metropolitan University?
* Global city - Is your work experience in Manchester? Is it a global company? Did you work with a diverse group of people? How has it helped with your career prospects?
Format: You can produce either one video, between 2-6 minutes, including all aspects above, or three videos, between 30s-2 minutes each, covering one of the above aspects in each video. In addition to the videos, we may ask you to write a testimonial detailing your experience as an international student. We will also ask for an accompanying photo for the testimonial.
