Area Sales Manager - Heavy Plant & Equipment
A major dealership specializing in the international supply of Heavy Plant & Equipment is looking for an Area Sales Manager to execute the sale of products to UK and international territories, holding responsibility for a large number of accounts throughout the regions.
Role: Area Sales Manager (Hybrid)
Area: Slough with international travel
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + comms + benefits
Responsibilities:
1. Actively prospect potential new customers whilst managing existing accounts.
2. Develop travel plans for regular customer and territory visits.
3. Identify key commercial opportunities through ongoing communication with customers.
4. Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure maximization of all revenue.
5. Produce a reliable monthly sales forecast.
Requirements:
1. Experienced in selling equipment on an international scale.
2. Proven ability to develop customer accounts.
3. Experience of using a CRM database.
4. Tenacious and resilient, with the ability to close sales.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
