Job Description
Senior Support Engineer required. This is an opportunity to join a well-established MSP / IT Support company, based in Worthing. They have been providing support to a variety of customers across the South East and are now looking for an enthusiastic person to join the busy IT team in their rapidly expanding company.
Position overview
1. Providing 2nd & 3rd line support to a variety of customers via telephone, email and remote support tools
2. Active directory / Group Policy / DHCP / DNS Management
3. Server monitoring, checking daily log files, backup logs and monitoring alerts
4. M365 / Exchange / SharePoint
5. Troubleshooting and configuring networks such as routers, printers and bespoke applications
6. Installing and configuring hardware/software
7. Hands on with all server and desktop products, as well as the latest cloud technologies
Poisiton requirements
8. Full UK Driving License
9. 3+ years as an IT Technician / Support Engineer
10. Good knowledge of Windows 10 & 11
11. Microsoft 365 including Exchange, SharePoint, Azure and Intune
12. Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022
13. Exchange 2016/2019/Exchange Online
14. Maintanence and troubleshooting of printers
15. Good communication skills
16. Good understanding of networking protocols and devices: Draytek / Netgear
Position Remuneration
17. Monday to Friday
18. Salary £30,000 – 35,000 DOE
19. 28 days holiday including bank holidays (increasing to 25 over time)
