Cambridgeshire County Council is currently seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Community Team on a part-time basis.

Main responsibilities:
* Provide professional leadership in situations which have highly complex case arrangements for assessment and support planning.
* Provide written and verbal reports which are concise, informative, and based on analysis of complex evidence.
* Complete support planning with service users to ensure that outcomes identified at assessment are met.
* Actively engage with, assist, and provide advice to carers, conducting carers assessments when appropriate.
* Allocate and authorise support packages as appropriate.
* Lead, guide, and direct team members to ensure work plans are in place.
* Provide written and verbal reports appropriate for courts and other legal purposes.
* Provide cover for the Team Manager during short term absences.
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification (Degree/Masters/Post Graduate Diploma) – Essential
* Current Social Work England registration – Essential
* Car driver with full UK licence – Essential
