Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Ward Manager at our Highfield House care home located in Purley, Croydon. As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of nursing services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This includes overseeing nursing staff, managing patient admissions and discharges, implementing care plans, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Requirement:
1. Nursing Management, Critical Care Medicine, and Patient Care skills
2. Experience in nursing and medicine
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Previous experience in A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, Respiratory, or Complex Care settings.
5. While RGN qualification is preferred, RMN or RNLD candidates may also be considered if they have experience in a similar setting.
6. Experience with Ventilator and Tracheostomy Care
7. Leadership experience, ideally with at least 2 years, including responsibilities such as coordinating rota's.
