Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for a Driver's Mate to work with our client in Reading. Our client is the UK's leading home improvement and garden living retaile r and they currently require a Driver's Mate to work with them on an ongoing basis.
There is a 4 week rota, working 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). The role can start at either 7am or 11am and each shift will last 8 hours.
The general duties of this role will involve assisting the experienced driver to make deliveries of a variety of goods to residential addresses in the South of England.
The pay rates on offer are as follows:
* £13.69 per hour Basic
* £18.00 per hour Saturdays
* £20.00 per hour Sunday
These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
Successful candidates will have the following:
* Attainable references in a loading/warehouse capacity.
* Appropriate PPE (safety shoes and hi-viz).
