Inspection Engineer Introduction This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inspection Engineer to join a dynamic quality team.The role involves conducting in-process inspections of manufactured components within a machine shop, using advanced measurement tools. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring conformity with engineering definitions, and supporting the overall quality assurance process. Key Responsibilities Inspect components within the machine shop to ensure they meet engineering definitions. Address and resolve any issues proactively as they arise. Raise Material Disposition Reports (MDRs) when required. Support non-conformance investigations and quality department activities. Adhere to health and safety procedures while maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards.Skills and Qualifications Engineering Apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work to a high level of quality Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Competent using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SAP (Training available on-the-job) Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £16.76 (pay award pending).
