Growing SME consultancy business based in the heart of Manchester City Centre are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to start asap. Key Responsibilities: Manage the purchase and sales ledger. Perform credit control, including chasing outstanding payments. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correctly, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. Bring the books to the trial balance stage. Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements. Process accounts receivable/payable Reconcile bank statements. Monitor office expenses Requirements: Available immediately Proven experience as a bookkeeper in an SME. Competency in using Xero accounting software. Excellent Excel skills. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication skills.
