Job Title
A Control Systems Engineer is required to focus on fuel-efficient powertrain systems including motorsport, rail, and drones for a cutting-edge engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design vehicle-level control systems for reliability and safety through control system architecture.
* Perform safety analysis and integrate risk mitigation into design, ensuring Safety and Risk Management.
* Develop real-time control software for embedded applications using Embedded Software Development skills.
* Create and apply models for system functionality and testing via System Modelling and Simulation.
* Develop, control, and validate test rigs for effective Test Rig Management.
* Conduct thorough testing, calibration, and documentation to ensure Validation and Documentation.
Required Skills:
* Demonstrate proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and Visual Studio software.
* Show competency in modelling, data generation, logging, and analysis related to Data and Simulation.
* Have knowledge of vehicle systems, CAN/LIN protocols, and tools like PEAK, CANalyzer under Vehicle Architecture and Communication.
* Exhibit experience in FMEA, HazOP, and PC applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project) for Safety Protocols.
Project Management Abilities:
* Oversight of timelines, technical planning, and resources for effective Project Planning.
* Management of suppliers and client communication to maintain smooth Supplier and Client Relations.
* Preparation and presentation of updates for stakeholders through Reporting.
Additional Skills:
* Familiarity with circuit design, mechanical, and thermal systems under Electronics and Systems Knowledge.
* Awareness of automotive safety standards and quality management according to ISO26262 and Quality Standards.
Salary: Estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
