Role Overview: About the Role: As a CNC Production Engineer, where you will be responsible for programming CNC milling machines, optimizing CNC programs, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. You'll work with machining technicians, assist with continuous improvement initiatives, and help deliver projects on time and to specification. Key Responsibilities: Program and optimize CNC milling machines for efficient, cost-effective production. Improve both new and existing CNC programs. Support machining technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality part delivery. Adhere to AS9100D standards in program infrastructure. Design versatile fixturing and introduce new tooling and cutting techniques. Ensure timely and accurate delivery (Right First Time and On-Time In-Full). Collaborate with engineers to identify best manufacturing methods. Skills & Experience: Essential: HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100, experience in aerospace or automotive, and proficiency in CAD/CAM software. Experience in CNC machining in a precision engineering environment. Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Heidenhain) and 3D modeling (Solidworks, Visi). Strong knowledge of CNC turning and milling (up to 5-axis). Familiarity with VISI CAM (offline programming). Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and lean manufacturing principles
