What you will do in your working day
All training and learning will take place in the workplace, where the training provider and our experienced butchery team will look after your development and make sure that you are learning new skills.
Duties will include:
* Making products;
* Butchering whole carcass animals;
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work area;
* Learning to perfect customer service skills.
The training you will be getting
* Butcher Standards Level 2 Qualification;
* FDQ Level 2 Award in Food Safety;
* FDQ Level 2 Award in Health and Safety;
* FDQ Level 2 Award in Knife Skills;
* Level 1/2 Functional skills in English and maths if required.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* Continuing onto advanced and higher level qualifications, with the opportunity of management courses.
