We have an opportunity for you working on one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in the UK HS2, working on the mechanical and electrical aspects of the project managing a team of Delivery Managers. The Role: You'll be working on HS2 across the S1 & S2 Assets, Working in the Ruislip and North Acton area to begin with eventually down to Euston has more assets become live. For this role you will be responsible for managing the fire aspect of the MEP projects working with the Delivery Managers and Asset Leads from it's conception design to construction phase and handover ensuring all requirements are met with subcontractors and any issues are flagged and resolved. This is a senior role and previous experience managing large projects is essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: ·Acting as Fire Package Manager across HS2 Assets for Fire work across tunnels ·Able to present work in a client facing environment and engage with the subcontractors ·Work with the Delivery Managers to determine schedule rates for work activities and milestones to support project schedule are all on time and on budget. ·Preparation of Project Changes, Budget allocations. About You: ·Experience working as a Fire Package Manager of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems (MEP), during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages. ·Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related subject ·Experience of Early Contractor Involvement models and NEC forms of contract ·Experience of running a project from design to handover ·Background Knowledge of Rail projects (preferred) ·Background in engineering prior to planning (preferred) Interview Process: This will be a two-stage process, starting with an initial Teams call followed by a face-to-face meeting.
