Job Title Global Strategic Sourcing Manager Location(s) GSK Stevenage (UK) – Customer Site, GSK Ware (UK) – Customer Site Directs, plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Oversees the creation and maintenance of bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other Enterprise wide systems. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. Develop and implement a global services procurement strategy aligned with the overall business strategy. Role based on Customer site - Stevenage, UK Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential service providers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to optimize cost, quality, and performance. Develop cost-benefit analysis which is used frequently to optimize spend. Serve as the liaison between customer, employer, and vendors. Calculate metrics for analysis as well as consolidate large amounts of data into concise targeted informational summaries and reports. Manage/deliver supplier contracts within budget and hit in line with targeted savings. Make accurate forecasts to meet customer’s demand. Source, qualify, negotiate, and procure service contracts in support of our OneSource Enterprise asset management portfolio. Engage in all aspects of supplier management with a focus on improving profitability and delivering customer satisfaction. Identify appropriate service coverage for different customers or types of equipment and opportunities to expand our service platform strategy. Conduct routine supplier meetings to develop and maintain supplier relationship. Use data to drive decisions and provide market/competitive feedback while supporting the field organization and providing visibility and accessibility to supplier metrics, tools and processes. Work toward standardized and consistent sourcing strategies and processes across regions. Effectively manage the team to ensure work is completed on time, while also fostering employee development. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytics related field Equivalent of 4 years of combined procurement, strategic development, strategic pricing, or data analytics / insights experience Preferred Experience: Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends and develop action plan based on findings Experience in similar or related industry Deep understanding of vendor/supplier communications and best practices.
