Our client is a small, young team with big ambitions who are looking to bring on board a Senior Marketing Executive to be an integral member of the team as they take on the next phase of their development. They are a fast-growing B2B exhibitions start-up producing high-quality B2B events focusing on the electronics and IoT industry segments; clients range from small tech start-up companies to the global leaders in electronics and IoT technology such as Amazon, Microsoft, Intel, Samsung, IBM, Nvidia, and Texas Instruments, to name just a few.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a talented, driven and entrepreneurial Senior Marketing Executive to join a fast-paced team in London to support the rapid growth of their annual B2B show:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and execute the company marketing strategy required to achieve yearly marketing objectives.
2. Achieve event registrations targets for the annual show.
3. Achieve exhibitor inbound requests targets for the annual show.
4. Develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels including email marketing campaigns, SEM, PPC, display ads, telemarketing, and PR.
5. Increase the profile of the event through key industry partnerships and high-quality marketing campaigns.
Critical Competencies Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of proven experience in marketing B2B events with evidence of contributing to the development of marketing plans, end-to-end B2B multi-channel campaign development, and hands-on tactical expertise.
3. Commercial acumen to develop sales-led marketing initiatives.
4. Ability to quickly and intimately understand their business model, the needs of the clients, and their motivations for attending events.
5. You are a strategic thinker with a strong focus on growth.
6. Ability to produce creative and well-thought-out marketing plans with proven experience in managing complex marketing projects.
7. Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write clear, concise copy for all forms of marketing communications including website, emails, brochures, direct marketing, and press releases.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and execute multi-channel marketing programs, including the ability to research and implement best practices.
9. Flexibility to accommodate extended working hours as needed around key show times.
