What Youll Be Doing As Assistant General Manager
* Operational Leadership: Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
* Team Development: Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.
* Guest Engagement: Deliver warm hospitality and exceed customer expectations.
* Stock & Financial Control: Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control to maximise profitability.
* Event & Function Support: Assist in the planning and execution of private events and busy service periods.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to.
* Tech-Savvy Management: Use industry-leading systems such as Zonal till systems, High Level software, and Harri rota, time & attendance and recruitmentsystem to streamline operations.
What Were Looking For
* Proven Experience: Previous experience in a managerial role within a busy pub or restaurant.
* Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Zonal, High Level, and Harriis a bonus.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example, train staff, and create a positive working environment.
* Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
* Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of stock management, cash handling, and GP margins.
* Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
