We require a HPC Registered Dietitian to join our friendly department of Dietitians providing the nutrition and dietetic service to Hounslow Borough.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Community Dietetics in a supportive environment. In the wider Dietetic team, we have specialist areas such as a cardiology and paediatrics.

• Provide a service to patients in the Community and in Residential and Nursing Homes who are on Oral Nutrition Support.
• To train and education GP’s and other Practice and Community staff on Oral Nutrition Support policies and procedures
• The post holder will contribute to the Cardiac Rehabilitation team to provide an effective Dietetic cardiac rehab service to staff, carers and those patients referred
• To contribute to the community outpatients and domiciliary services across Hounslow.
• Run weight management group sessions
• Work as a member of the dietetic department, providing a comprehensive dietetic service to the work areas agreed and allocated
• Be part of an effective service, providing nutritional counselling to patients/clients referred for ONS
• Provide expert advice to patients, carers and clinicians regarding provision of nutritional support for patients based on clinical evidence. This will involve nutritional assessment; to include the calculation of nutritional requirements based on the interpretation of biochemistry, anthropometry e.g. weight, height, skin-fold thickness, clinical condition and other physical parameters.
