We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our finance team. This role will focus on the effective management of the purchase ledger system and provide critical support in ensuring smooth financial operations across the business. Client Details As Accounts Manager, you will report directly to the Finance Director and will provide leadership and support for the finance team. This role is based in Birchwood, Warrington. Description Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate management of the supplier payment process. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries in a timely manner. Assist with month-end financial reporting and reconciliations, including supplier statement reconciliations, and manual payment tracking. Process monthly corporate card transactions and input authorized timesheets into Sage 200 for job costing purposes. Oversee weekly and monthly payroll, pension, and HMRC payments, including RTI reporting. Manage year-end routines, including processing P60s and P11Ds, and reconcile payroll and pensions to nominal ledgers. Process weekly expenses and petty cash transactions. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns and monthly CIS Subcontractor returns. Administer pension auto-enrolment and related procedures. Profile A successful Accounts Manager should have: Proven working experience as an Accounts Manager Previous experience using Sage 200 would be beneficial AAT Qualified is essential. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, especially excel. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data. High attention to detail and accuracy.
