**Job Title:** Senior Quality Technician

**Job Overview:**
As a Senior Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing product inspections, conducting quality audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the production process. This is a hands-on role that will require strong technical skills and an ability to collaborate with various departments, including production, engineering, and R&D.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform regular inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Lead and participate in quality audits to identify areas of improvement within the production process.
* Analyze data and generate detailed quality reports for management, highlighting any deviations from quality standards and recommending corrective actions.
* Collaborate with production teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior quality technicians, mentoring and developing team members.
* Implement and oversee the adherence to quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
* Work closely with the Engineering and R&D teams to ensure that quality control measures are integrated into product design and development.
* Support the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
* Develop and maintain a robust testing and inspection program to ensure quality consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
* Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality control role, ideally within manufacturing or production environments.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (ISO 9001 or similar).
* Experience in performing technical quality inspections, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
* A background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
**Desirable Skills:**
* Experience with automated inspection systems and quality control software.
* Certification in quality management or related fields (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma).
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations within manufacturing environments.
