This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Empty Homes Team, for a minimum of 6 months and provide a high-quality repairs service to our customers throughout the Northwest Area. Maintenance Operatives, here at YHG are an integral part of our Repairs & Maintenance team and have a varied role, responsible for the completion of basic repairs and maintenance to Your Housing Group properties. In this role you will carry out general repairs and maintenance duties, which may include, but will not be limited to, painting, decorating, mould wash & treatments, patch plastering, minor tiling work, Clearance work. Key safe fittings and assisting other skilled trade team mates with small plumbing or joinery work, and general maintenance duties. You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety. And what would make me stand out from the crowd? To be a successful as a Maintenance Operative here at YHG, ideally… You will have a full UK Driving License (ideally no more than 6 points) You will be experienced in patching, painting, internal and external maintenance works and minor repairs and mould treatments.
