Your Role in Our Story:
1. Building your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market share.
2. Understanding and identifying arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book.
3. Creating strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals.
4. Developing an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes.
5. Maintaining relationships in the renewable energy sector.
6. Representing the firm at conferences and engaging with stakeholders within the industry.
Your expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
1. 0-2 years of sales, trading, brokerage or account management role.
2. Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly.
3. Previous sales, cold calling, outreach, prospecting experience.
4. Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field.
Please note: this role is 100% in-office in New York City.
The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
