The Role
We are seeking a Faculty Support Administrator to provide excellent, effective and efficient administration to one of the Schools and Departments within the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and the Environment. You will provide diary management to the Head of School of Computer Science and Mathematics and administrative support to the academic and senior leadership team. Previous experience of diary management is essential as well as a good working knowledge of administrative procedures.
You will provide electronic diary management for the Head of School, deal with associated arrangements, set up, schedule and prioritize appointments, meetings, and visits accordingly. You will also provide highly effective customer support to staff in the faculty while coordinating a variety of functions and working flexibly as part of the operations support team.
A key member of the Faculty Office, you will contribute to the overall smooth running of the faculty by providing exceptional administrative support. The role will provide a highly efficient and effective administrative and support service to the faculty leadership team and Heads of School, covering for absent team members when required.

We are looking for a professional, friendly, self-motivated, and excellent team player. You will be working in an inclusive environment alongside a small but friendly team that supports one another through the day-to-day running of the faculty office.
You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a confident and proactive approach to your work. The ability to build good working relationships across the faculty and university is essential, and listening effectively and responding sensitively to others is important.
Please note this is an office-based role and not hybrid, and you will be based across two campuses, Penrhyn Road and Roehampton Vale, so please consider this when applying for the role as you will be required to be in the office full time.
