Job Description:
Data Processor - 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract (Belfast or Newcastle West). Now, we're looking for a Data Processor to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here at Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
Upon joining Sysco, you will initially be located at our Lisburn Depot, Hillhall Road and relocating to our new Belfast site at Nutts Corner, anticipated to be March or April 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all product and vendor Master Data is fully and accurately updated on a timely basis.
2. Responsible for setting up all new Product & Vendors on the system.
3. Gatekeeper of all Product & Vendor Level data.
4. Maintenance of all key Product & Vendor level data fields including but not exclusive to Product Status, Alternatives, and Pricing.
5. Integral in sunset/sunrise process ensuring no impact to customer when changing code.
6. Coordinate and issue Merchandising business communications as and when required.
7. Manage and coordinate the return of Vendor agreements/Insurance certificates.
8. Coordinate and support on team projects, mainly around data collection exercises.
9. Liase and support Category & Trading Managers on implementation of category strategies including marketing & promotional plans.
10. Ongoing maintenance of all Vendor contact information.
11. Daily checks of reports to check key data fields and data accuracy.
12. Supporting Category & Trading managers with any invoice queries.
13. Management of general business queries & other ad hoc administrative duties.
Requirements:
1. Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel to intermediate-advanced level is a minimum requirement.
2. Strong numerical and analytical skills are required with good attention to detail.
3. Experience of AX advantageous.
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
5. Good negotiation skills essential.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Flexible, innovative, and creative in their attitudes to all issues and areas of the business.
8. The ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
