We are working with a client in the Tech4Good sector who are playing a key role in advancing the sustainability of one of the UK's largest sectors through innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is enthusiastic about creating solutions that address real-world challenges. While technical skills are important, we are seeking those who can apply their knowledge to craft user-centric products. The perfect candidates will be those who can strike a balance between technical requirements and product goals, with a strong focus on the end-user experience. Responsibilities: Build features and seamless user experiences that meet both user needs and business goals Take full ownership of projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring their reliability and performance Contribute to product design, balancing aesthetics with performance and accessibility Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices and maintain clear documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused solutions, while continuously optimising and improving the development process Requirements for Success: Strong expertise in Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI) and JavaScript (Vue.js, Nuxt.js or React) Experienced designing and interacting with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Value for automated testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Strong grasp of relational databases, specifically Postgres Understanding of frontend development practices, including component libraries (e.g., Storybook), utility-first CSS frameworks Experience with AWS and microservices, including Terraform / Kubernetes Ability to work collaboratively across teams The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, user-focused products.
