Job Description:
SRG are looking for an account manager for a global medical products and technologies company. This is a field-based role and will be covering Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Warwickshire and Sandwell. As part of the role, you will be in charge of growing the account sales for advanced wound care through consultation with district nurses and community nurses and specialist teams in the community and hospital. Training and education to support product use, pull through of formularies and pathways, and evaluations to support pathway/formulary inclusion will be essential. You will work closely with the matrix team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drive overachievement of sales targets across territory.
2. Represent the company professionally within the community and some secondary care.
3. Demonstrate in-depth clinical and product knowledge within key indication areas.
4. Produce specific account growth plans detailing actions and resources.
5. Build comprehensive customer account plans.
6. Maximise the clinical access to key brands through formulary inclusions or clinical guidelines.
7. Ensure correct and competent use of company brands through regular training.
8. Initiate and drive (hospital/community) product evaluations through liaisons with key clinical decision makers.
9. Facilitate audits to gather prevalence data.
10. Plan and implement local study/educational activity to raise awareness of the therapy areas and build platform for sales opportunities.
11. Meet agreed Metrics & SFE Standards working within and adhering to Company's compliance policy & Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics.
12. Maintain a strong understanding of the company CRM system and record calls daily.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Selling experience within medical/pharma industry, selling to primary and/or secondary care.
2. Strong team player as will be part of a Matrix team.
3. Educated to degree level, ideally with a bio-medical sciences background or nursing experience. Recent graduates with a Bio-medical sciences degree will be considered.
4. Tenacity, high motivation, and goal orientation.
5. Strong and impactful communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships and influence key decision makers.
6. The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of NHS structure.
7. Demonstrated skills at meeting or exceeding targets.
8. Strong presentation & IT skills.
