We are recruiting for an Estates Maintenance Craftsperson.
Band 4, £26,530 - £29,114 per annum plus additional on-call payments, full time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 16:30, Friday - 08:00 - 14:00.
You will assist the Estates Department in the provision of an efficient and cost-effective system of maintenance and installation of engineering, building services, and associated equipment.
You will provide a continuous multi-skilled Estates presence over the portfolio of Trust premises, to facilitate maintenance and repair to services and equipment inside of normal working hours, with additional support out of hours.
All in accordance with current legislation, standards, guidance, and good working practices.
Skilled in the hands-on repair of designated plant and equipment within the limits of your qualifications and training, you should have the ability to fault find, diagnose, and repair using your technical knowledge on equipment, including but not limited to:
* Mechanical Installations
* Heating Systems
* Water Systems
* Minor Electrical support
* Plumbing services & repairs
* Competency in completing joinery & building fabric repairs to include decorative remedial work
