Are you passionate about driving successful projects and collaborating with dynamic teams? As an IST Junior Project Manager at Sodexo, based in Salford with home-based flexibility, you will support the delivery of critical business strategies by overseeing small to medium-sized projects. You’ll play a key role in maintaining project progress, ensuring objectives are met, and working with internal and external stakeholders to make a real impact.
What you’ll do:
* Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of various projects.
* Provide clear direction and leadership to project teams, keeping the project on track.
* Oversee the transition of projects into “business-as-usual” ensuring sustainability.
* Utilise project management tools for tracking and reporting project status to all stakeholders.
* Coordinate resources and manage budgets to keep projects on time and within scope.
* Collaborate with IS&T Project Managers and ensure adherence to the IS&T Project Delivery Process.
* Prepare progress reports and maintain budget trackers to monitor project finances.
What you bring:
* A professional qualification (or studying to achieve)
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working as a Project Coordinator in either a PMO environment or supporting Project Managers to deliver projects.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as a team player, fostering a collaborative team culture.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to various Sodexo locations as required.
* Desirable: A degree and SC security clearance (or the ability to obtain clearance).
