As an IST Junior Project Manager at Sodexo, based in Salford with home-based flexibility, you will support the delivery of critical business strategies by overseeing small to medium-sized projects. You’ll play a key role in maintaining project progress, ensuring objectives are met, and working with internal and external stakeholders to make a real impact. What you’ll do: Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of various projects. Provide clear direction and leadership to project teams, keeping the project on track. Oversee the transition of projects into “business-as-usual” ensuring sustainability. Utilise project management tools for tracking and reporting project status to all stakeholders. Coordinate resources and manage budgets to keep projects on time and within scope. Collaborate with IS&T Project Managers and ensure adherence to the IS&T Project Delivery Process. Prepare progress reports and maintain budget trackers to monitor project finances. What you bring: A professional qualification (or studying to achieve) Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working as a Project Coordinator in either a PMO environment or supporting Project Managers to deliver projects. Strong organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as a team player, fostering a collaborative team culture. Willingness to travel occasionally to various Sodexo locations as required. Desirable: A degree and SC security clearance (or the ability to obtain clearance).
